In spite of the unsettled weather many Corinthians from the Annapolis and Philadelphia Fleets joined what seemed like the whole Chesapeake Bay sailing community on Saturday, September 6 to attend the annual afternoon concert in Shaw Bay off the Wye River. Them Eastport Oyster Boys plus other talented entertainers amused a huge raft of spectators moored together in their inflatable dinghies. Happily the concert concluded before a sudden change in the wind conditions with 40 knot gusts provided further excitement with much wailing and dragging of anchors.
