Singles on Sailboats (SOS) will present a seminar on February 21, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  The seminar is open to the public.

George Dunigan, Technical Sales Representative for AkzoNobel. will speak about anti-fouling paints, undercoats, fillers, primers, topcoats,  varnish and adhesives. AkzoNobel is the world's largest producer of marine coatings, including Awlgrip and Interlux.

Find out what you need to know in order to get the best product for your boat and the best value for your money.  Even if you don't plan to paint this year, you can tuck this valuable information away for the future.

The event will be held at the Southern District Police Station Community Room, 35 Stepneys Lane, Edgewater, MD 21037.  It’s open to non-members on a limited basis.  You do not need to be single to attend.  Cost: $14 (includes continental breakfast).   Register online at www.singlesonsailboats.org by accessing the website Event Calendar, or send a check to Singles on Sailboats, P.O. SOS is a nonprofit organization for single adults who share the love of sailing and want to participate in a wide range of sailing related activities including day sails, weekend and extended cruises, sailing education, and social functions at sea and ashore.  The volunteer efforts of hundreds of members organize a wide range of on- and off-season activities.
