The 2014 CBRYA Racing season concluded with HHSA on the Podium.  In PHRF A2, Joe Laun’s Lady Grey took first place while Keith Mayes and Jubilee won second place.  In PHRF C, David McCullough and the Gitana crew were second.  Congratulations Skippers!

HHSA is preparing the 2015 racing calendar.  Pre-season kicked off with the New Racer Program.  The New Racer Intro Seminar was on February 21.   Potential new racers learned about HHSA racing program and how to get started.  Attendees learned how to get their boats ready, how races are structured, and basic racing rules.  HHSA is focusing on building the Non-Spinnaker Fleet in 2015.  The next New Racer Seminar will be held on April 12.

The HHSA winter program is underway.  With most of the fleet on land, HHSA’s events have followed with seminars by Wendy Kravit on “Do’s and Don’ts of Extended Cruising” and “Dealing with Diesel Spills” provided by the USCG’s MST3 Robert Fleshman and PO Stephen Fink.  HHSA’s Annual Soup Night brought the club together for piping hot delights.
