Parklawn Sailing Association (PSA) conducted is first weekend raft-up sail in May 2015. The Club sailed two of its three boats from Galesville, across the bay and around bloody point and up Eastern bay to the Wye as part of its on-going training program. Training and recreational day and weekend sails are conducted during the sailing season in addition to sailing training completed each weekend in April.
All training opportunities are made available to both new and current members of the Club. PSA is the best sailing value on the Bay! The first-years $575 new member fee includes two-days of on-the-water training or skipper check-out for experienced sailors.
Renewal for following years is $280 ”early bird special” plus a boat maintenance fee of $225 or 3 maintenance coupons. Ask about our novice deferred payment plan. Be the skipper without buying or chartering. Improve your cruising and racing skills with our inexpensive small on-the-water classes.
PSA welcomes inexperienced sailors and supplements basic “learn to sail” training. Founded in 1968, PSA is a cooperative, recreational sailing club that welcomes new members. The Club owns three well-equipped cruising/racing boats of 30 and 34 feet, docked in Galesville, an attractive small town on the West River, 10 miles south of Annapolis.
