Here are some of our recent and upcoming events at The Sailing Club, Inc.
Windjammer Schooner Festival: The Sailing Club, Inc. reserved sevem cabins on Victory Chimes, a 170 ft. wooden sailing vessel out of Rockland, ME. The group boarded August 31 and enjoyed helping out when they wanted or just enjoyed the day. They returned to Rockland well rested and happy September 5th.
Sailing Weekend to St. Michaels: The club has reserved 3 sailboats from Haven Charters out of Rock Hall, MD to participate in Fall Into St. Michaels, their annual celebration of the autumn October 23-25, 2015.
Florida Gulf Coast: The club has four sailboats leaving from St. Petersburg, FL, chartering from Sailing Florida. Trip dates are November 7-14, 2015 - and the planned itinerary is to sail out of Tampa Bay into the Gulf with stops at Clearwater, Sarasota, and Longboat Key.
End of Season Party, November 21: The Sailing Club’s annual celebration and slide show of photos is always well attended and is open to all, not just members. This potluck dinner requires only that everyone bring something to share.
More to Explore in the BVI: Sailing Club members are looking forward to escaping winter February 6 - 16, 2016, on two catamarans and one monohull from Sunsail Charters. Boarding in Tortula, the plans are to visit some favorites and to explore some not so often visited spots. For details on all trips and events go to: thesailingclub.org
