CAPCA Offering First Aid/CPR Course Jan. 30

Need to take a certified first aid and CPR course? Sign up for this convenient one-day class to be given by the Chesapeake Area Professional Captains Association (CAPCA). Open to all boaters, it will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the large classroom at the Annapolis Elks Lodge, 2 Pythian Drive, in Edgewater, Maryland, just west of Annapolis.

Class size is limited. Sign up online at capca.net and click on Continuing Education in the drop-down menu in the upper-left-hand corner. Cost of the class is $105 a student, including instructional materials and equipment. For more information, e-mail [email protected]. Students who complete the course successfully will receive a certificate from the American Red Cross. Open to CAPCA members and non-members alike.

The class is limited to 20 students. If we run out of slots, you'll be wait-listed until we have enough sign-ups to schedule a second class later on. If you don't get into a class at all, we'll refund your money in full. Walk-ins will be accepted on the day of the seminar if space permits, but there'll be a $5 surcharge for that.
