Do you have great photos from you cruising experiences? Of course you do. Now is the time to share them on a new area of the SSCA.org website!
Please submit your best photo(s) and attach a brief anecdote about them or the moment(s) to [email protected]. Photos must relate to cruising, but can include special moments in harbors, hiking or people and events encountered while out cruising. The location where the photo was taken should also be noted. By submitting you are granting the Seven Seas Cruising Association the right to publish your photo.
There is not a limit on how many photos and brief anecdote each member may submit! (Spread them out over the months to increase your chance of winning.) Send photos with an attached brief anecdote to: [email protected]. IMPORTANT: Write the anecdote as an email. Please send the photo as a separate attachment to your email.
All SSCA members will be able to vote for the “best photo” each month. Check in on the SSCA website to see the latest submissions. The top monthly photos will be featured at the 2016 Melbourne Gam! Prizes will be awarded to the Best Photo(s) of the Year at a special “How to take great photos while cruising” talk as part of the 2016 Melbourne Gam.
This is a great way to have fun sharing about our cruising experiences while enjoying those of fellow members vicariously and at the same time learning a bit about how to take better photos. Let’s go do it!
