Big Racing Weekend in Hampton and Annapolis
When you have 100 boats in any regatta, it’s a smashing success—and so went the 2018 edition of Southern Bay Race Week, hosted at Hampton Yacht Club. A mix of conditions from light air to rain didn’t bother sailors who always enjoy the camaraderie at HYC as much as the racing. Congratulations to BLACK SEAL CUP Winner (Boat of the Regatta): Eric Schwab on Dorothy Kate.

Annapolis Leukemia Cup
With 90+ boats at the start, the Annapolis Leukemia Cup also had an impressive turnout… and the racing and social events, including the Friday night gala at Annapolis Yacht Club and the Rock the Dock party at Eastport Yacht Club all benefitted the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This regatta’s results (both on the water and fundraising) will get added to the results for the CRAB Cup and the Hospice Cup for the first Triple Crown trophy. Who will be the Triple Crown Trophy Winner in 2018? We shall see…
In the meantime, here are the results and some photos by Will Keyworth for SpinSheet. Find downloadable Leukemia Cup photos for purchase here.
