Hospice Cup

J24 Roo lost Topping Lift inside mast during last Thursday Night Race of the season. I offered to go up in Bosun's chair prior to heading out for Hospice Cup. Will Davenport owner of J24 Roo rigged perfect system of fishing weights on line attached to topping lift which worked great. 
I skippered and Will did Bow. Lloyd did main and flew spinnaker and Angela did jib with Will. We had a terrible start and we had trouble finding the marks. Wind died in the middle of the first leg and shifted. After rounding mark near bay bridge we had barge bearing down towards us so we gybed towards Western shore first and then back towards our mark which helped us in the long run. Great winds by then and nice leg to finish. Great party afterwards!
