This was a race from off Willoughby bank to the Chesapeake Light. We sailed it on the Bowman 46 Castanet owner by Neil Ford. It was a great sail to the light and we were becalmed on the return at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay.

M/V Strumpet underway.
We have great friends Gene and Diana Thompson who have a wooden trawler the M/V Strumpet. On a non work day morning, Gene will gather a crew to go the Glazed Doughnuts in down town Hampton. Boat call is typically 0700 and we are back to Fort Monroe with doughnuts in hand by 0930. It is always a great day on the water.
