Thank you, great friends Bub and April, for taking us jet skiing. Only the second time I’ve been on a jet ski and first time I drove one. Great fun but it’s not sailing.

Really nice afternoon sail to the Potomac and back.
Nice late morning / early afternoon sail around Mattox Creek.
Not much wind but Karen and I went for about an hour sail on Mattox Creek. Always fun when Karen joins me.
Adequate wind and not too hot so I went out for a 2 hour sail to Mattox Creek Marker 1 then to Monroe Bay Marker 4.
Not sure the exact wind speed but it was windier than normal, but I knew that going out. Had a blast getting out to Mattox Creek marker 1. Fighting waves and wind going back so I furled the jib and sailed back with the assistance of my outboard. I’m feeling more comfortable sailing in windy conditions.
An almost magical sunset sail on Mattox Creek. I should go out after dinner more often since the days are getting shorter and its cooler, 88, than it is during the day.
Went out for about 4 hours as far up the Potomac as the Alexander Graham Bell house. Mixed wind, sometimes terrific, other times almost non-existant.
About a half hour paddleboard to Stepp’s Marina. Karen joined me in her kayak.
Sailed on Mattox Creek out towards the :Potomac. Not much wind but another day on the water.
