Debbie and I took a trip to Annapolis for breakfast on Impulse.
Century Club: Keith Donald
Hugh, Eric, Charlie, John, Bruce and I take Mystic out for a guy's day sail. Heavy fog until about 2:00 pm. Light Easterly wind.
A quick spin on Impulse after battery connection and steering repair.
Clarke stopped by to take measurements for new sails then Bruce joined me for a quick sail. Cloudy and 5 knots from the north.
Bruce and I sailed Mystic under the Bay Bridge. Sunny, high 60, winds 10-15 knots from the north.
Bruce, Steve and I took Windsong II out for a sail. Sunny, northerly winds 10-15 knots.
Lynn and Dave joined us for a three day cruise to the Eastern Shore.
Monday:
A delightful sail to Dividing Creek off the Wye River Winds 10-12 knots from the north resulted in an easy going downwind leg in the bay followed by a fast close reach in Eastern Bay, and two tacks in the Wye River. Some rain along the way but not too cold. Pasta dinner topped the evening.
Tuesday:
Light and variable wind all day with cloudy skies. We motored to St. Michael's for lunch and a walk around town. We met Sara, one of our good CSSM friends. Our final night was spent in Tilghman Creek after determining we could find our way out if the tide wasn't too low. Another awesome dinner followed by game night and dancing on Mystic.
Wednesday:
We awoke to thick fog and deployed our radar reflector. Visibility was about 1/4 mile so we stay at 4 knots until the fog lifted about halfway down Eastern Bay. Another day of cloudy weather and lack of wind but comfortable temperatures and good company. A fun time was had by all.
Roy, Sandy, Debbie and I took Mystic out for a pleasant afternoon sail. Wind 5 knots.
Solo sail out to Whitehall Bay and back. Winds 0-5 knots. Sunny and mild.
Russ and I did a quick sail in the late afternoon. NW at 10-15 knots.
