Dave, Paul, Brandon, Carey, Josh, and me. Great start, but fell behind with a muffed spin hoist after round windward mark.

Got to the marina early but only 45 minutes before low tide. Usually that means I'll ground along a 200 foot section of the channel leading to the river. The breeze however, was from the south keeping the water level a little higher and the transducer depth at the slip indicated I would avoid getting stuck. Fingers cross I motored into the channel.
Spent a few hours sailing mostly in the no wake zone off Old Town. Practised reefing the main as the breeze kick up to 10 knots and cross decked the sheet so I could trim and helm from the high side. A few powerboats passed through my area and only one sailboat emerged from WSM as I returned. A relaxing solo sail.
Bob, Michael and me sailed Bob's friend Moe's 37' Chris Craft moored on West River. Light breeze to start which continued to bulld as we aimed for Thomas Point Light. Bob plugged in the autopilot on the return leg and we beam reached at 7+ knots back to Hartge Yacht Harbor in Galesville. Warm sunny day; only a few boats on the water today.
We RCed last night. Beautiful weather, steady 7-9 knot NW breeze and a good turn out of 22 boats. Wish we were racing but we had the satisfaction of managing a flawless race.
Carey and I enjoyed the sunny weather and mostly beamy breeze that gusted up 15 knots. Reefed headsail and main worked well hitting speeds of over 7 knots.
Barely any wind at the start but 10 minutes later a steady 10 to 14 knot easterly filled in much to everyone's surprise. RC chose a short, 2.5 NM course because of the light wind. We finished in 26 minutes. Fast and furious!
