Stayed on my Trawler in Daytona Florida marina. 1 week - tues to tues. Rain then sunny and hot. AC worked good. Ran both engines. Live aboard. Worked on boat cleaning and repairs to the mast, sealing window leaks, etc. Engines dry and clean - no diesel leaks. Planned haul out for February. Detailer to wax hull and Daytona Boat works marina to haul and paint bottom. Gave spare AC unit to mechanic Ray to test run and repair as needed for a spare. Also checked and replaced a few dock lines. Boat stays in the water year round and has been at Daytona beach for about 5 years now. Divers clean bottom every month.
Attended Annapolis power boat show with Chris. Met Steve there for Lunch at the Yacht Club. Then went out on a new DC boat with twin Yamahas and Joy sticks for training. Spent a good hour out in the Harbor going over and practicing using the Joy Stick to move the boat. 2 captains and 3 of us. Fun times!
Jetski ride early with Greg. CALM. Went down to Manahawkin bridge and back on east side thru the Inlet. NICE.
Later after Lunch took Chris Craft out down to Barnegat to watch Glen and Cliff on their E Foils. Cliff learning and Glen is great.
Early October Jetski ride. About 1030am - calm with light SE winds. Greg and Greg. Barnegat marsh islands ride, then east to Ocean side of bay. North up to the Inlet, then back home to Waretown. 1.5 hours.
Good sunny day! Still NE wind. Took CC over to Inlet about noon. Greg was in his boat and followed. Saw Dolphins by the Lighthouse. Boat ran good.
Took boat over to see the Boat docking contest at Solomons island. Floated around with all the other boats and could not see very good. Many boats anchored and blocking views.
Went out in Sailfish DC on the Patuxent River for lunch. Windy and choppy NW. Boat rode nice. Good lunch after tie up at dock in windy conditions. Then headed home to the area sandbar and found Rick and family there. Anchored boat backed into sandbar. Nice small sandbar about 18 inches deep. Stayed about 2 hours then headed home.
