Spent the weeekend at Waterside for the J&A 5K and Norfolk lights parade and HYC potluck dinner and Sunday breakfast before returning to NOB.
Short day out and back into Willoughby and then chenged engine oil after too many hours.
Restored the boat to cruiisng status and did toe rail repairs from 3 hours of sea spray over side of boat. Removed spinnaker and retored spin pole to a whisker pole. Straightened up cabim and v-berth which were in disarray.
Raced with Will in ORC Spin, came in 2nd in class. Went to Thimble Shoal then to Middleground Light.
Raced with Willoughby Racers against Littlecreek Races for the Bold Mariner Cup. Littlecreek for the win. Skymark came in 4th of 8 in Black Fleet.
Enjoyed a nearly 4 week crusie of the Bay with port visits in Solomons, Rock Hall, Magothy River, Kent Narrows, Wye River, West River, and ended up with final port of Salt Ponds Marina in Hampton. Raced in Watermans Triathlon in September in Rock Hall. Installed a new bow pulpit in Wye River after picking it up in Kent Narrows.
Raced with 30 some boats from BBSA and NNSA for the cup. Navy won again this year!
