Lovely morning for a row. Scores of single seagulls crisscrossing overhead and geese honkin gin the distance.

Nice and sporty this morning. The wind came up a bit with sunrise and there were just the barest whitecaps out in the Severn. I saw a heron fly by, the seagulls where talkative and gregarious, and there were flocks of ducks heading in all directions. Spring must be coming. Sophie didn't mind the waves at all.
Put in at Annapolis Maritime Museum on a very low tide with 14 kt wind and waves heading straight at the beach. It was 32f so I had to stop a couple of times and warm my hands up. Sophie could care less about the waves, she did fantastic.
Sailed a Beneteau 48 out of Conch Charters in Road Town, Tortola to the local islands as well as Anegada.
We had rough seas and rain. SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE hit 10.1 kts with two reefs in on the way to Anegada, where we sat out the worst day on a mooring ball.
Blowing 15-20 in the Severn so rowed up the creek. The wind still made it a good workout. Rowed past a big raft of Canada Geese and I think I saw the eagle atop the Moyer Park water tower.
Some big earthmoving equipment is running over by the YP basin and the whole Severn sounds like a construction site. Feh.
Very black, and then gray this morning with light spotty rain, but the 50F air temp was a welcome change. Very light winds with big rollers coming from Matapeake on a flood tide.
Just me and the ducks this morning. After I got out in the Severn I started going through rafts of stuff scraping against the hull. Eventually I realized it was slush, or pre-ice... I'm sure the Inuit have a good name for it. Anyway, slowed me down a bit but it didn't seem to be hurting the boat so I kept going.
Oh, besides me and the ducks there was a lovely cutter out in the Horn Point anchorage, lo tho it had in-mast furling.
Cold and clear and smooth today. This is the first time I've got back to the car and the windows had re-frosted over.
A little bit of flotsom from Tuesday's storm but nothing I ran into.
Boy do I wish I was able to get out Monday morning, it looked glorious.
It was a little knobby on the Bay so I went up the creek. Just me and the ducks.
Annapolis CBIBs showed 9kts at 05:48 this morning but when I got to the beach it was blowing 13+ so I went down the creek instead. Despite it being more sheltered, and having switched to neoprene gloves, my fingers got cold pretty quickly so I turned around near the St. Luke's basin where Eidelon and Blinding Furry hang out.
