Not as nice as last Sunday but the waters were still a little busy.
Century Club: Billy Hannigan
Slow day out on patrol. I am getting more familiar with the new boat.
Tried to move 111 back around to Ruddee after getting her bottom done. The 8 footers off the Cape had other plans. After admitting defeat, I followed the pilot boat in. She laid the seas down, making it tolerable.
Three abandoned vessels we have to deal with now. We were able to trace ownership of one vessel. Charges coming.
Absolutely gorgeous day. 86° and sunny, summer got here in one day. Tons of people on the water.
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Here's some green
Still get accustomed to the new boat and creating a punch list of issues.
Came around to Rudee Inlet where I had to shut down the inlet throughout the day as public works replaced the dredge pipe under the water.
Longer days are finally here. Overcast day light savings time day but I'll take the warmer temps.
