Spent the morning on the Barba Roja with my brother and parents. Winds were very light but we were able to get up to the bridge to look around. Played musical drivers so everyone got a little time at the helm, though I think my mom would prefer to just be a passenger. Thanks to Steve for taking us and for the pictures.

Went on the Spicy Meatball with Jonathan for the 4th. We had perfect conditions of a steady 8-10kts so we went 20 miles over near NAS Pax River, out into the bay to little cove point, and back under the bridge before coming home to show off the red white and blue spinnaker to the boardwalk. Jonathan let me drive almost the entire time and I didn't capsize the boat so I'm counting it as a win.
I was down in Southern MD for the 4th and my brother invited me to crew on Dangerous while I was there. We had a strong start and good upwind leg but lost a little time on the first downwind leg due to some spinnaker issues. Raced up and around the bridge with a finish close to the island. RC set up a great course and I enjoyed getting to sail with by brother and some other friends. Thanks to the SMSA RC for the pictures.
Great race to kick off a full week of sailing. Our new spinnaker for Incorrigible came in for this race so the whole crew was like a bunch of kids in a candy store. Strong race overall with a perfect course for testing out the new spin. Thanks to the BCYA RC for the photo.
Small crew on Incorrigible today so we raced non-spin. Good clean racing by everyone and perfect weather. Thanks Maggie for the picture with the crew.
Raced on Rascal to celebrate the Summer Sailstice. Got to try out an asymmetric spinnaker on the boat and was cool to see how it works. Very hot outside but alwyas good to be on the water. Thanks Maggie for the picture.
Spent the day on Rascal to see some of the fleet week activities. Motored up into the harbor to get a closer look at some of the ships and then anchored for lunch and to watch some of the flyovers including a cool demonstration by an F-35. Took a short lap down towards Fort McHenry to round out the day.
Back on headsail trim for the first race of series two on Incorrigible. Had a great (but sporty) start and ideal conditions through the whole race.
Spent Sunday on Rascal going down under the Key Bridge. Crews were working on clearing the last of the debris to re-open the main channel and it was eerie to see what's left up close. Got some good time at the helm on the way home with variable and gusty winds.
Round 2 at the mast on Incorrigible for the final race in Tuesday Night Series 1. We had some strong upwind legs despite technical difficulties on our downwind ones and enjoyed a nice sunset at the finish. Today was a reminder I have much to learn but always great to be on the water. Thanks Lynn and Deadrise for the pictures.
