A pleasant afternoon with C just putzing around
Century Club: Mario Santana
Took a rainbow out to the lighthouse.
A very fun Monday night races, we played hard and did well... Plus or minutes a broach or two, which frankly were some of the most fun moments. Good times!
What a fun race with 8 people on board. Plenty of talented hands, plenty of rail meat. I really enjoy going out on this boat.
Taking a few hours to hang out on the bay on a sleepy cloudy afternoon.
Good teamwork tonight, a lot of things clicked.
I got ambitious on the first start and flubbed it, still finished middle of the fleet. The second start went perfectly and we won by several boat lengths. Everything I felt good tonight.
Helped sail the schooner Tom Swift from the boat yard to its home slip. Well, mostly motor-sailed, the wind was very light. Still, a very pleasant evening with Todd.
We raced short handed, with cross sheeting and no spin. Great practice.
Another successful Monday Night Races. Not my best sailing, but I wasn't super late on the start and I tacked to stay in phase, and I was beating everyone to the to mark but on port tack. A couple of ducks and a precision tack left me in third, a crap rounding got me to fifth, and a solid downwind had me finish in third.
A lot of work and a bunch of valuable reps. 10/10 will do again
