Managed a third place for the weekend in class B.
Century Club: Susan StGeorge
High winds and problems with the spinnaker.
Started out at 7:15 am from Solomon's. We were able to sail about 3.5 hours at 7 kts until the wind changed. Then the winds picked up and we had to motor directly into the wind until we arrived at 5:45 pm. Stingray Point has a nice marina and we were able to use their grill to prepare our burgers.
Typical summer night sail. So enjoyable.
Great Tuesday to be sailing. It was John's first day sailing his own boat out into the bay.
Perfect night for Piney Point. It was high tide and very little wind. The whole night featured a gorgeous sunset.
It was a beautiful night racing. Unfortunately we weren't able to fly the spin for more than 10 minutes.
A perfectly calm day to stand up paddle boardz
Two of out for no good reason on the Patuxent River.
