Solo sailed my hobiecat 14 after fixing the main halyard.
Century Club: Susan StGeorge
Had help on foredeck from Craog. Placed 7 out of 9.
Beautiful sail to Bouy 44 for lunch with Jamie.
First time on foredeck without the captain's help. Light wind.
Put in at Forest Landing with the Southern Maryland Paddlers. Made it to the red mark #4 for our glamour shot.
Had a great time paddling and got a nice pic from Joe's drone!
Start time 3:15 pm and ended up abandoning the race at around 10 pm due to 40 mph gusts and no reef in the main. Our life line on the port side broke making it too dangerous to continue. Arrived back in Solomon's at 3 am.
Started out at 6:45 and arrived in Galesville at 2 pm. Passed a 122 ft boat which capsized the prior week. It was hot and not too much wind.
Put in at Clark's Landing when a storm was threatening. It turned out to be a very nice paddle with light rain.
saw a bald eagle, great blue heron fishing and a snowy egret.
