Once the boat was fully rigged a storm blew up delaying the race on Whirlaway. The race was canceled but we went out to try practicing the spinnaker. Winds got up to 20 something making it not feasible for spin practice.

SMSA keel boat race on Knof Enuf. It was a terrifying start when we almost got run down from behind. Problems with the spin after a great start position. Rounding the bridge is always exciting! We were able to steal the wind from Barbara Roja and keep her behind us at the finish. It was a great time with captain Ben and first time sailor Marie.
