I was lucky to have three female students on my boat this weekend! The winds were light in the mornings but picked up each afternoon. The boat traffic was intense on Sunday afternoon. I wish more motorboats would obey the posted speed limits.

I enjoyed a private lesson for a mom and her two adult daughters. They live in different cities and a sail in Annapolis was the start of their family vacation.
We had a small class but the chemistry was amazing. It was the best class I have ever been part of. My two students took ASA 101 as a vacation. They came from Germany!
We got lucky with better wind than predicted! We were also blessed with light motorbiat traffic.
Enjoyed a fantastic time on the water with private lessons in the morning and afternoon!.
The winds in Annapolis were not easy to work with. It was light, heavy, crazy.
my students handled it well
I had a fantastic group of men this class. The father-in-law, son-in-law team paired well eith the 17 year old high school student. The winds were fantastic!
I had only two students on my boat and they were fantastic.
The powerboat chop was significant. Few powerboats were considerate to minimimuze their wake.
We took 12 days to sail the DelMarVa loop. We aer sail 7/15 and got back to Annapolis 7/26. We did 407 nautical miles on a Catoli a 30. We had to motor sail often. We had some rainy days but the least fun rainy day was in the Atlantic. We often felt like the lone sailboat in a world if power boats. We had a blast.
Enjoyed a nice sail on Asp, a Seafarer 31'. The Bay was odd as the wind was good but there was a lot of chop and it was not from powerboats. We were lucky the wind held as sailing home on Back Creek.
