Our stowaway
We decided to take the “Kiwi Kruiser” out this morning to practice our docking skills and were very surprised to find a cute furry critter, aka a $%&@en racoon, hunkered down in the middle toon. You must look very closely to see his fur coat right in front of the motor but trust me he was there. I was very content not to be bitten, scratched, or mauled hence I didn’t spend much time taking pictures. Sometime between the time I jumped off the boat onto the dock to find a big stick, club, or surface to air missile launcher the racoon also hoped onto the dock and hid underneath it. Good enough for me. We took a nice, relaxing cruise around Mattox Creek and successfully brought her into the slip and onto the lift a few times.
