#73. A legitimate workout paddling at dusk against a chop, the breeze, and a fast-moving flood tide. I paddled to the first boat dock that juts out into the Bay at Breezy Point. The Bay at dusk is nice but the Bay at dawn is more vibrant!

#72 Just an easy run tonight to the area of the new fallen cliffs.
#71 - From looking at the radar, we knew that we had a short weather window, but we took it anyway. We launched off the beach and sort of headed south. It was one of those days when it was "time on the water, not speed through the water." We made the most of it. We could see the clouds to the west and the rain falling to the north. And then the rains came. It was a day that I hope we will always remember. We loaded up and headed home. I showered outside in the rain... the perfect way to end a memorable day on the water.
#70 Wednesday night Fun Race... We were between race series last night and we had the scheduled "fun race." The first boat to the bridge had to radio to the fleet that they had made the turn. The rest of the fleet then made an about face and headed for the finish. It's a race that promotes "sand bagging" and Tommy and Steve Birchfield are experts at the strategy!
#69 Kayaking with Shannon off the beach. The two of us paddled together to the bump-out spot on the cliffs. It was great time together, just the two of us!
Captain Dave Ohler and I spent the afternoon paddling up Mill Creek, off Back Creek in Solomons. We had fantastic father/son time together!
Back on Barba Roja, and with DJO, in very light air, we finished second to Shamal, beating out Anna Marie and Knot Enough! We took 3rd for the weekend.
#76 My plans changed. I did not race on Barba Roja, but instead sailed on Aloha Spirit. The main tore badly, so I sailed under yankee only to #76, running beside the CRCA fleet. They looked fast!
#65. It was a light-air day and we didn't do well. Steve fixed tye mixing elbow in under 3 hours after we got in.
#64 To beat the heat, I got up early and got on the water early. The Bay was teaming with life! Ospreys, Herons, Bald Eagles, thousands of jellyfish, and maybe even a snake. It was good to be on the water and it was a good arm workout.
