They say that the Thomas Point Shoals Lighthouse is the most photographed lighthouse on the Chesapeake. I received an invitation from the Chesapeake Area Professional Captains Association to join them today for a guided tour of Thomas Point. All I can say is “Wow!” If you ever get the chance to tour this lighthouse, take it!

6 miles on the Delaware Water Gap with Dave, Shannon, Erin, and SJ.
Like a Jimmy Buffett lyric, in a Chesapeake Chop, with winds 15+, I got in a great kayak session. The best part of paddling into a chop like this is riding the waves on the return trip!
Some Wednesdays you race, and some you're the race committee. I'd rather race!
Good run to the Boy Scout pier and back. To make it even better, Air Force One, with its distinctive paint scheme, flew in from over The Bay, banked over the Naval Research Station, and it looked like it headed to Andrews. This was my first flyover while I was in the kayak!
I was paddling to the buoy off Breezy Point when I realized that I was just too tired following morning workout.
#25! This was another good cardio / arm and upper body workout to Breezy Point.
Discipline trumps desire!
Last race of the Spring Series "A." We lost to Shamal by 3 seconds in big air... 16 to 20 knots! We took second place in tge series.
A short run on a calm day to the oyster sanctuary buoy.
On a calm Bay, I paddled north to the Camp Roosevelt pier. I returned at dusk. Another good workout on the same day that I had morning CrossFit training.
