Took the paddle board out along Bethany Beach canal to Salt Pond. Little wind or current. Spotted a Great blue heron perched on the Bimini cover of a pontoon boat. 74F, sunny, with winds 2 mph from the W at time of launch (7:20 am).

Finally got an iPhone case so I could snap a few pics while on my morning paddle. The great blue herons were happy to pose. 78F, sunny, with wind 9 mph from the SW at time of launch (7:20 am). Assawoman canal is so nice and protected.

While paddling on Assawoman canal this morning, I spotted two juvenile fox along the shoreline. They were on opposite sides of the canal. 76F, sunny, with winds 7 mph from the S at time of launch (7:35 am).
