Took the paddle board out early on Cattail creek to beat the heat.  77F, fair, with winds 1 mph from the WSW.  Great conditions for a paddle- calm flat, no wind, no current.  Temperature wasn't bad although a bit humid.

Took the paddle board out in the afternoon.  89F, partly cloudy, with winds 5 mph from the ESE at time of launch (3:20 pm).  Definitely a warm one and the wind picked up a bit as I was paddling back - making for a steamy workout.

Took the Hobie Wave out for the morning.  80F, fair, with winds 8 mph from the SSE at time of launch (10:30am).  Saw a couple of dolphin swimming around but by the time we got the phone back out they decided to stay below the surface.

Slept in a bit then took the paddle board out around 8:20 am.  76F, partly cloudy with winds 3 mph from the ENE.  Proceeded south on Assawoman canal past Bethany Beach canal, under the Garfield Parkway bridge then past the pond by Turtle Walk community toward Sea Colony.  Nice day for a paddle due to no wind and very little current.

Opted for another early morning paddle on the Assawoman canal.  73F, hazy, with winds 1 mph from the NNE at time of launch (6:45am).  I got to see my friend the Great Blue Heron in his normal spot.  Great morning, good routine, time with nature.  Even got to see a blue crab in the shallows as I launched the paddle board.
