First race of the Fall series. Light winds turned into healthy winds requiring reefed genoa on up wind legs. Came in 1st by 2 minutes before closest Blue fleet. Would have been seconf in White fleet on corrected time.

The race was between the three tunnels, HRBT, MMBT, and the Midtown tunnel. Sadly after 3 hours of attempting starrts the race was cancelled. A hot day on the water with temp index at 106 degrees.
Race stormed out by 38 kt gusts and rain.
Instructed weekend Bareboat Cruising Level class at NNSC for four students; all qualified.
Shortened race due to light winds, still came in 1st of 8 in Blue Fleet. Andrew and Patrick and Brad as crew.
Conducted two days of saling classes for USSailing level 103 for five students on a Hunter 260.
Came in 3rd of 8 when jib sheet fouled on a flag halyard cleat. Lost the lead and about a minute.
Crusied to Cape Charles with 15 other NNSA boats and 25 boats from BBSA and HYC
Came in 1st over Oh Sheet and Arete.
Dressed ship for Marina days day tripped over to Hampton City Docks for a visit to BIBCO and an overnight stay. Sailed back to NOB Sunday morning for Father's Day! High winds both ways.
