Two other club members and I brought home Parklawn Sailing Association's latest acquisition, "Glissade," a 2000 J/32. I am bonding already with this boat.

Skippered Parklawn Sailing Association's "Vivace". Good wind and a companionable crew were the pluses of this race.
Started this sail with a couple of friends last night in the Rhode River on Parklawn Sailing Association''s Summer Sun. We had to keep clear of the "Love Bug" yacht in its new location in the middle of the West River channel. This morning we picked up additional crew for a fine day sail with steady winds out of NE. Only the biting flies marred today's sail. Capped off the day with supper at Stan & Joe's with my crew and other sailing friends.
Skippered PSA's "Vivace today in the Herrington Harbour Sailing Association's West River Race. Lots of fun.
Skippered Parklawn Sailing Association's "Summer Sun" for a fellow club member and his guests. We motored out to Thomas Point Light. Then headed into the Rhode River and anchored for lunch. While we were out, we saw that the "Love Bug" was in slings and mostly out of the water.
Crewed on PSA's "Vivace" in the PCRC Wednesday night race. It was a beautiful evening to be on the water.
Sailed "Pisces" with spouse and friends to Bigwood Cove in the Wye River and enjoyed a relaxing weekend of kayaking, reading, sleeping and delicious meals. We were prepared for heavy rain but only had some during the first night; otherwise, the weather was warm but not too humid - not bad for August.
Participated in a test sail of a sailboat being purchased by Parklawn Sailing Association. In addtion to sailing a great boat, I had the opportunity to sail with Jayne Durden, an excellent sailor and Commodore of the Herrington Harbor Sailing Association.
Crewed on PSA's "Vivace". Winds died. We retired.
Evidence of Pirates & Wenches weekend in Rock Hall were everywhere, but the town was quiet (or maybe exhausted) for our visit. The four of us on Parklawn Sailing Association's "Summer Sun" enjoyed a delicious meal at Waterman's followed by ice cream in town, and cool and restful night on the hook in Swan's Creek.
