Diminishing winds might have led race organizers to cancel today's Poplar Island Race as my crew and I were making our way to the race course. Oh well. We got in a nice sail on PSA's "Vivace" until the wind died, and then we motored back to home port.

Took out non-sailing friends for a three-day sail on s/v "Pisces." The air-conditioning on the boat was definitely needed. Trip included two nights at an Annapolis marina, a water taxi rides, dinner at Cantler's, some good sailing, and an afternoon on the hook in the Rhode River. It was a lot of fun.
One of the benefits of participating in a Parklawn Sailing Association (PSA) maintenance day is the sail afterwards. Five of us took out "Summer Sun" and were treated to 15-20 kt winds and 1-2' seas. Great sailing.
Joined folks from the Compass Boating Club for a delightful four-day cruise that included watching the log canoe races in the Miles River, an overnight in St. Michael's and a visit to Cascia's Winery and an evening potluck meal on the winery grounds.
Skippered PSA's "Vivace" in the Wednesday night series.
A few fellow Parklawn Sailing Association (PSA) members joined me for a day sail on "Pisces."
Enjoyed sailing a Flying Scot on the Potomac with a friend. The wind was not too much or too little, but just right!
Skippered a day sail on "Pisces" for another PSA member. Wind really picked up in the afternoon.
Led a PSA club sail on "Pisces" today. The wind was light at the start of the sail and blowing 20 kts. by the end.
Led a PSA club sail on "Vivace" from the West R. to Herring Bay and back.
